Preschool Classes

3-4 year olds

MWF, TTH & 5 day classes offered

Our 3 year old classes focus on learning the structure of a classroom setting, learning how to share with friends and learning how to express their ideas and thoughts, in a loving, Christian, caring environment. They start the year learning their colors, one color a week and then move on to shapes. By November they will explore numbers by counting objects and making a number book 1-10. In February they will start exploring letter recognition through art exploration and that will take them through May. Throughout the year they will experience the beginning stages of the Handwriting without Tears Program and review all concepts presented. We understand play is a big component for our 3 year olds, so we have plenty of play mixed in with the academics.

4-5 year olds

MWF & 5 day Pre-Kindergarten classes offered

This class is designed for the child going to kindergarten the year following preschool. In preparation, your child will learn colors, shapes, and numbers 1-20. The alphabet will be taught through the Frontline Phonics Program. Handwriting, upper and lowercase through Handwriting without Tears. Within their day they will experience circle time, playtime, worktime, through a variety of games and worksheets, and outside play. It’s a busy but fun day. We offer a great balance of play, math, phonics, handwriting and art.
